"adventure is worthwhile in itself"
B. Lynne Photography is for the free-spirited, never tamed, & those always looking for that angle that no one else sees.
Hi, I'm Bailey!
I'm from a little northeastern Kansas farming town. I was raised on a purebred Hereford & Angus operation in Kansas and Nebraska. I am a third-generation Hereford & Angus breeder.
Photography has been with me since a young age. When we started showing cattle my Mom wanted to document every show so she bought a nice Canon early in my career. My poor Mom didn't know that camera would quickly become mine and travel with us to the pasture, the fields, shows, and everywhere in between.
I call Kearney, Nebraska home now. If you can't find me there I'm on the road back to Marysville, to help with the farm or driving to another event. I love always being on the move going from one shoot to the next in between the hours I work at my full-time job. I still help my parents run our 100 head purebred Hereford & Angus operation, though my roles have switched to managing our marketing via traditional print & Social Media along with helping my Dad make breeding decisions.
I spent five years in Billings, Montana capturing images at timed events like team roping, calf roping, breakaway, and barrel races. It turns out there aren't many livestock shows in Montana. Rodeo and ranching are king. So I learned to shoot subjects from a different sector of the ag world and I fell in love with it! There is just something about watching horses and their riders execute everyday tasks with the elegance of a well-oiled machine.
My love for the beef and agriculture industries started at a young age helping do chores & care for the cattle around the farm on a daily basis. My show career started & the hours in the barn working on my heifers & steers showed me the value of a hard work ethic, with the early mornings & late nights. Winning champion titles was grand but the lessons learned after losing; the friends, mentors & connections made were far more treasured than a banner or buckle.
I love all things chocolate. My absolute favorite days are when it's raining or snowing curled up on a comfy chair with a good book. (Yes, I absolutely love to read and if I'm traveling I listen to books!)
If you've hung around this long shoot me an email or give me a shout so we can capture your vision!
